The ones that started it all!
The whole reason I learned to knit was just for this pattern.
Maybe someday I'll get around
to making it!

Fascinatingly Paradoxical

Oh... cute, cute, CUTE!! So Sixites and perky! The whole picture is just great :)

The dress (of course), the hair, the smile, the swing, the boyfriend, the BOOTS! Do me a favor, I know you're here for knitting but check out those boots! For heaven's sake - they're open-toed! It doesn't get more MOD than that!

The dress is crocheted in a chevron pattern - oh, to heck with it - I have to go look at those boots again!

Comments:
I do love-LOVE the herringbone pattern on the dress. And, the whole feel, especially the 'boyfriend's expression.. very cute!

I love all your retro patterns where can i either download the pattern or buy the pattern books Awesome!!!

* Patern Copies - I actually have most of the patterns for the clothing shown here, but due to copyright laws, I cannot copy/scan/post any of them. Please don't ask. However, I will be happy to let you know the name and details of the magazine or book it came from
and perhaps you can locate it through an antique store or online.
